3. Data (looking at heart rate data on my Oura ring using this device)

Plus I have some Oura Ring data points to share with you on how this device impacted my HRV and sleep.

The Apollo emits waves of low frequency sound waves (or vibrations you can’t hear) that are specifically designed to have an impact on your nervous system. The vibrations can be soothing and help put you into a parasympathetic state, kind of like a gentle hug. And other vibrations can be energizing to help increase your heart rate and kick your sympathetic mode into high gear. When you think about how vibrations work in our environment — electricity, hot/cold, massage — all of these elicit different responses on our body and mind. Well that same principle is applied here in this small device.

My Oura Ring Data: HRV/Sleep and The Apollo Neuro
Data
* I’ve been using the Sleep and Renew setting for 120 min every night since I got this thing back on March 16.
* On the first night, my HRV was crazy. I got a 75! I think this might have been a record for me. On average, my HRV hovers in the low 40s.
* So that same night, my resting heart rate also dipped down to 45, which is way lower than my average of low-to-mid 50s.
* On the week without using the Apollo, my average resting heart rate was 54. On the week with the Apollo, it was at 52.
* For HRV levels, my non-Apollo week averaged out at 42 and my with-Apollo week— 44.
* And when it came to sleep latency — or how fast it took me to fall asleep — there was no competition here. On the week without Apollo, it took me an average of 7 min…with the Apollo, only 3.
